Hello again,
As you may have already heard the news that we will not have our reunion on campus this fall. We will have our 50th anniversary reunion virtually. This is beyond our control. Yes I am disappointed and sad - BUT... wait. Don't worry.
My committee is already creating ideas for our virtual reunion. We are motivated and excited about our plans. Plans are still very early in our planning so they are still "work in progress". More information will be shared later.
To give you a little idea what the plans look like. So far we will have 5 events, maybe 6, spread out starting on Wednesday or Thursday through Saturday. All events will happen in the afternoon so that people in the west coast can be involved. One of the events is Medallion Ceremony.
Some of you have emailed with questions.... what about memory book, what about the medallions? We already have plans. We will mail those items including jacket/vest to you perhaps in September or early October.
You will receive registration electronically soon. This is where you can check off if you wish to buy the memory book and/or the jacket/vest.
Our virtual reunion will be done via Zoom. We realize that some of you may not have the app or have experience using Zoom. It is really simple to download the app and it is free. We will send out instructions. And ask you if you wish for someone to assist you with the installation of Zoom and practice using it. We really want everyone of you to be part of our reunion. I am calling for volunteer(s) who are familiar with Zoom and can help with this. If you are interested, let me know.
